Our claim
Quality and responsibility
Our products are synonymous with long-lasting quality and a careful selection of materials. Thanks to their robust manufacturing and high quality standards, they are designed to last for many years. During the development process, we also place great importance on resource-efficient processes and are constantly working to reduce our consumption of materials and energy.
Paper from sustainably managed forests
The aim of our business policy is to use paper whose wood comes from responsibly managed forests. That’s why we are certified under strict FSC® and PEFC regulations. These seals of approval guarantee that high ecological standards are met throughout the entire production chain.
As part of our collaboration and contact with our suppliers, we specifically avoid paper that comes from the following sources:
- illegally sourced wood
- genetically modified wood
- wood that comes from forests in need of special protection
- wood that comes from forests in the vicinity of serious social conflict.
Responsible energy consumption
We are certified according to DIN ISO 50001 for our energy management system. This allows us to continuously optimise the energy and resource consumption of our processes.
Carbon-neutral printing through CO2 compensation
We carbon-neutral printing upon request. We calculate the energy requirement and CO2 emissions for each carbon-neutral print order and carefully consider the materials to be used in each production step. Customers who wish to print in a carbon-neutral manner can purchase emissions certificates from our partner First Climate, depending on the CO2 emissions. These emissions certificates correspond to the gold standard for carbon offsetting projects, as developed in 2003 by experts from the World Wildlife Fund and other environmental organisations. Having placed your carbon-neutral print order, you can show your support for carbon offsetting projects with a certified logo and an identification number in the imprint of your product.
Our contribution to EU Regulation 2023/988 (GPSR)
The new EU Product Safety Regulation (GPSR), which sets out uniform requirements for the safety of consumer products, has been in force since 13 December 2024. Even though many printed products are not directly covered by this regulation, we take our responsibility seriously - for safe products and a sustainable supply chain.
What we do:
- Material testing & selection: We make sure that materials used - for example inks, papers and finishes - are both harmless to health and as environmentally friendly as possible.
- Risk assessment: We carry out risk-orientated tests for relevant products - for materials, processes or end products.
- Transparent documentation: All measures are documented. We are happy to provide these on request.
In this way, we not only deliver a high-quality print product, but also the assurance that care, environmental awareness and legal requirements go hand in hand during production. However, we are unable to undertake testing or risk assessment for components supplied by our customers, such as inserts.
Quality is key. Our commitment to quality products is not only evidenced in customer testimonials, is has also officially recognised . We are PSO-certified, meaning we ensure a seamless process of data acquisition through to the finished printed product and can attest our quality to the customer. We demand a high quality of service not only during the printing process, but also beyond it. For this reason, our Lettershop uses the digital address maintenance service from Deutsche Post to ensure our data is always up to date.
